Sweet Cherry Buttermilk Breakfast Biscuits
If there is one thing I make more than anything it’s biscuits. My husband and kids love them and always ask me to make them. We have them with jelly for breakfast, with honey for a snack, or buttered with dinner. The great thing about buttermilk biscuits is that they are so versatile, the addition of fresh fruit is always a great option. I also make them with garlic and cheese and they are sooooooo good with pasta...or literally by themselves. Ha!
This morning I had myOxo cherry pitter out and these beautiful fresh Rainier cherries. I made my Cherry Buttermilk biscuits with a sweet vanilla bean glaze over top. Fresh fruit biscuits with a sweet glaze is always a favorite of my kids!
These are so quick to whip up, which is why I make them so often. I can get a batch done while my husband is getting ready for work and he has breakfast on the go before starting his day! Works for me! :)
These tender, sweet, and buttery biscuits are perfect for any time of day. Give them a try! :)
