About Me...

Where to start…I guess I can welcome myself back! I admit, it's nice to feel the keys under my fingers clicking again on the same (now very old) macbook as I'm writing this post. Now I'm no stranger to blogging, but it's been quite a few years since this laptop has been opened up for such purposes. I blogged about my life, family, and food nearly every day for years, but since then, not much (does Facebook count?), ha. Then again, that was back when I only had one child, I was a new mom, and I was determined to develop recipes that my darling husband would enjoy to eat and snack on when he arrived home from a long day at work. Sounds blissful huh? Well actually I was so accustomed to working and being out of the house that when I became a mom, I had to come up with a new creative outlet since I now had a newborn and was at home most of the time. It was my life journal and I enjoyed every minute of it.

How have things changed since then? Well life has changed A LOT actually. But what hasn't changed is the fact that I still love to develop recipes, make beautiful food that my family enjoys, and present them on a table set for a magazine. I still have the same love for my family, my faith, my food, and of course my fitness through all these years. But now, with the addition of two more kids and moving into our dream home, we are living our dream life! Ok, ok it's more like a crazy chaotic life….but it's a beautiful chaos that I wouldn't trade for the World. I'm just trying to enjoy life by being present in each and every moment while striving to make each day the best day yet.
